Jordan Leigh Goodson and Ralph Benjamin Pond IV were united in marriage on Dec. 5, 2020, at 6 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Darlington by Rev. Timothy Wayne Coker. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Arthur Goodson Sr. of Darlington. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Furman Martin Blackmon Sr. and Mr. and the late Mrs. Robert Edward Goodson Jr. She attended College of Charleston and is employed by R.E. Goodson Construction Co. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. Ralph Benjamin Pond III and Mrs. Ann Hart Pond of Myrtle Beach. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Benjamin Pond Jr. and the late Dr. and Mrs. Everett Crowell Hart. He attended Coastal Carolina University and is employed by R.E. Goodson Construction Co. The Matron of Honor was Mrs. Whitney Wolfe Goodson of Darlington. Maid of Honor was Miss Dantzler Rae Lambert of Darlington. Bridesmaids included Dr. Emily Pond Wright, Miss Lexi Jordan Easton, Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Calcutt, Mrs. Sarah Bailey Broome and Mrs. Caroline Birchler Herndon. Honorary bridesmaids included Miss Michelle Ann Dzurenda, Dr. Alyssa Katheryn Bryant, Miss Amanda Beth Goulds and Mrs. Sydney Berkeley Roberts. Flower girl was Miss Charlotte Ann Wright. Best man was Mr. Preston Martin Shields of Murrells Inlet. S.C. Groomsmen included Mr. Ronald Arthur Goodson Jr., Mr. Daniel Anthony Wright, Mr. Stephen Earle Boatwright Jr., Mr. Christopher Jordan Griggs, Mr. Bradley Shaun Barnett and Mr. Tilman Scott Richardson. Ringbearers were Mr. Henry Everett Wright and Mr. Ronald Arthur (Ari) Goodson III. Music was provided by Mr. Noah Stanley and Mrs. Hannah Stanley McCain. A reception was held after the wedding at the home of the bride. The couple resides in Darlington.
