The 33rd annual S.C. Sweet Potato Festival will be in full swing in two short weeks on Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Darlington. Over 100 vendors from several states will set up around the Public Square to offer an array of different crafts, food, drinks, games, fall decorations, and lots more. The classic car show draws many participants, and is a popular attraction for all ages.

The opening flag ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. to kick off a day full of entertainment on the stage, featuring musical talent from around the area. Celebrity emcee Greg Rowles will join the newly crowned Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival and Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Teen, along with Festival mascot, Spud.

Come join the thousands who regularly attend the fun and fellowship of the S.C. Sweet Potato Festival the 2nd Saturday in October. You will want to make the Festival an annual event on your calendar!

The Pilot Club of Darlington proudly sponsors the Festival. Admission is free.

Parking is available behind the stores on the Square, and the public parking lot on S. Main Street across from U.S. Mini Mart.
