A second person has died after a triple shooting Jan. 28 southeast of Hartsville, officials say. One woman, Tiffny Grooms Cranford, 33, died at the scene of the incident on Memory Lane off Swift Creek Road in Darlington County. A second victim, identified as Allen Stratton, 71, died Feb. 3 in an area hospital, said county Coroner Todd Hardee. A third person, who was wounded and has been hospitalized, has not been identified and his or her condition was not known. The Darlington County Sheriff’s office continues to investigate the incident, and the State Law Enforcement Division has been aiding in the investigation. No arrest in the case had been announced as of press time Monday. Funeral services for Cranford were handled by Norton Funeral Homes of Hartsville. According to her obituary, she was born in Hartsville and “loved making crafts, such as bracelets and dreamcatchers.” Survivors include her husband, Sammy Cranford II of Hartsville; a daughter, Tyara Cranford of Hartsville; and a son, Sambo Cranford III. Funeral arrangements for Stratton had not been announced.
