2 shot inside car, police say
A man and woman were shot while they were inside a black Mustang March 25, according to the Darlington Police Department.
At about 8 p.m., police were told there was a Mustang driving recklessly leaving Calhoun Street turning onto Pearl Street. While officers were responding they received two calls, one saying a woman on Chestnut Street had been shot and one saying a man on Pearl Street had also been shot.
When officers met with the victims, they learned that both had been in the same Mustang. The victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The incident is under investigation. The police department is asking anyone with any information about the incident to call 843-398-4026.
