Hartsville Community Chorus to hold spring concert
The Hartsville Community Chorus, Hartsville High School Choirs and the Long Bay Symphony in performance last year.
On Saturday, April 29, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 949 North Marquis Highway in Hartsville, the Hartsville Community Chorus will present their spring concert featuring medleys from “The Wizard of Oz,” “Lion King,” and “Wicked.”
The ensemble, directed by James Beaumier, will be joined by Hartsville High School choirs and the Long Bay Symphony. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. with an overture from “Fiddler on the Roof” performed by the orchestra, and twenty-two choir members will be featured as soloists in the medleys. The concert is free and open to the public.
