Ryan Newman visits Darlington Raceway
NASCAR driver Ryan Newman visits Darlington Raceway to debut the new Oscar Meyer throwback livery that his No. 6 Ford Mustang will sport in the Sept. 1 Bojangles Southern 500. Newman joined track president Kerry Tharp and academic achievers from Brockington Elementary Magnet School to unveil the nostalgic color scheme echoed by the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile and enjoy (naturally) some hot dogs. Brockington students who worked their way to victory lane included Brandon Anderson, Kevin Bryant, Jaylee Carter, Jayden Davis, Donavon Gordon, Katie Ham, Kathryn Howle, Lucas Stuart, Zaria Mack, Marley Robinson, Jeremy Spears, Rodney Spears, Jarius Brooks, Khloe Willard and Jadin Wright.
