Meet the 2015 Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival contestants:

What: S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Pageant

Where: St. John’s Auditorium

When: Sunday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m.

Two new representatives for the 33rd annual S.C. Sweet Potato Festival crowned; both winners will serve as official ambassadors for the festival sponsored by the Darlington Pilot Club. The winners will also compete for the 2016 Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen crowns.

Featured performers include Phoenix Phame and local X-Factor star Stone Martin. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.
