Trinity-Byrnes student wins national pageant title

Earlier this month, Trinity-Byrnes Sophomore Chandler Elle Jordan won the national title of Miss Teen Global United States, in Orlando, FL. She is the daughter of Jay and Sheila Jordan of Lynchburg, SC.
During her reign, Jordan will be traveling across the United States to promote her personal platform, Imperfectly Perfect. According to Jordan, “this platform focuses on self-confidence and body positivity while bringing education and awareness to mental illnesses, specifically eating disorders, while promoting healthy eating, healthy minds, and healthy lifestyles.”

Jordan revealed that she had experienced an eating disorder and wanted to help other young women facing the same situation.

In addition to competing in local and national pageants, Jordan is an active member of her community. This past school year she received the Outstanding Community Service Award from Trinity-Byrnes for having served 500 hours of community service, well over the 15 hours required by the school. She is also a member of the Varsity cheerleading squad, the dance team, and the National Junior Honor Society. She is currently under contract with three modeling agencies.

Jordan will return to the stage representing the United States on November 15 in Fort Myers, Florida to compete for the international title of Miss Teen Global.

The motto for the Global system is, “Empowering women, embracing cultures, and embodying the beauty within,” and Chandler plans to promote that by portraying everything that the Global Organization stands for, which means being a sponsor of goodwill, a trendsetter for leadership, and an ambassador for beauty and cultural diversity.
