Town of Lamar honors Veterans

The Veterans Memorial in Lamar was the site of a wreath-laying by the American Legion Post #93 on Thursday, November 10th. Lamar Mayor James Howell, members of the American Legion and the JROTC participated in the ceremony. Afterward, the group travelled to cemeteries in Lamar to place individual flags near the tombstones and markers of every veteran buried in Lamar.
