Ten arrested in joint operation
Ten people were arrested and two firearms seized in a March 17 community enforcement effort by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, SLED, the state Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon, the state Division of Natural Resources and the Highway Patrol.
As part of the operation, the agencies conducted 61 traffic stops, issued 37 warnings, seized 71 grams of marijuana, seized 23.5 dose units of Schedule II drugs, seized two guns, served seven warrants, and made 10 arrests.
