Sheriff’s Dept. holds Junior Leadership Academy 2024
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a Darlington County Junior Leadership Academy 2024 every Wednesday from April 10th through May 1st. It is for youngsters from 4th Grade to 8th Grade. This is a 4-week program, there will be 2 hour classes, and they will take place from 5pm to 7pm at the Lakeview Baptist Church Family Life Center, located at 202 Lakeview Blvd., in Hartsville. There is NO COST for the program and supper will be provided.
The curriculum will concentrate on building character and teaching Leadership qualities. There will be a First Responder Day, instruction on Social Media Awareness, an Anti-Drug Program and an Awards ceremony.
