Mr. Scott graduated in 1966 from the educational institution, which was then called the Denmark Trade School. He played for the Denmark Panthers football team for 3 years before embarking on his later life. His wife of 52 years, Mrs. Thomasena Scott, was a long-time teacher at St. John’s High School (now Darlington High School) and his son, Chevron Scott, is the Chief Magistrate for Darlington County. He is a Grand Trustee of the Elks of the World and has traveled to over 28 states as well as Barbados and the Bahamas.

The Induction Ceremony will take place at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2023 in the Samuel L. Faust Multicutural Center (Building 026) on the campus of Denmark Technical College (DTC), located at 1126 Solomon Blatt Blvd., Denmark, SC.
