Pridgen named Interim City Manager for Darlington

Last night, in a Special Meeting, the Darlington City Council voted to appoint Gloria Pridgen as Interim City Manager until Council fills the position.
Pridgen, who is Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Darlington, has been the City Clerk for 45 years and has also served as Interim City Manager previously.
Because she will be assuming more responsibility and will be performing more intense duties, Council agreed to increase her pay by $125 per day during her tenure as Interim City Manager.
