Pizza!Pizza! Comes to Darlington
Little Caesars Pizza was formally welcomed to Darlington at a July 11 ribbon cutting ceremony staged by the Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association.
Open each day from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Little Caesars provides quick pick up of your favorite pizzas, Crazy Bread, drinks and desserts at the counter or their convenient drive-thru window.
“Little Caesars is very different from any other pizza brand out there. Most people do not know that we make our dough fresh daily and our sauce fresh daily, and it is from scratch so there are no preservatives in our dough at all. It has to prove and everything, so it’s like we have a small bakery in house every day,” said Jennifer Leggett, director of development for Little Caesars.
But that commitment to freshness does not mean slow service. Each day between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., most standard menu items are put on “Hot-N-Ready” status, meaning you can simply walk in or drive up and roll home with your order in a matter of minutes. Specialty orders or large orders should be phoned in to allow for preparation time.
Leggett pointed out new menu items, like the $6 Extra Most Bestest pie with 80 percent more pepperoni and more cheese than their regular pepperoni pizza, and noted that deep dish pies, specialty pizzas, supremes, and three-meat-treat pies continue to be popular sellers.
In addition to providing the community with another dining option, Little Caesars is putting local people to work. Between full time and part time positions, the restaurant has brought 30 new jobs to town.
“We’re very happy to have you here in the City of Darlington, and we know that you’re going to be successful because there’s a lot of pizza lovers here,” said Mayor Pro Tem Coleman Cannon.
