Peggy Ann Player Weatherford
Peggy Ann Player Weatherford, 84, of Darlington died on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Graveside services wereheld on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 3 PM at Darlington Memory Gardens. The family received friends following the service at the cemetery.
Peggy was born in Darlington, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late William Douglas “W.D.” and Minnie Windham Player. She was an avid reader and loved animals. She worked for many years at Nytronics and Darlington Retirement Home. She was a great housewife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Charles B. Weatherford of Darlington; her son, Charlie Weatherford and wife, Denise of Darlington; her daughters, Kathy Roberts and husband, Bob and Judy Lynch and husband, Donnie all of Darlington; her grandson, Donnie Lynch; and her sister, Helen Chapman.
Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Player; and her sisters, Vivian Player and Mary Williamson.
