Motorcycle crash on East Home Ave. results in death
DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC – A fatal motorcycle collision occurred on July 26th at around 11:06 p.m. on East Home Avenue, approximately 5 miles east of Hartsville. The rider of a 2005 Harley Davidson was the only person involved in the collision. According to S.C. Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling east on Home Avenue when he ran off the road, striking several mailboxes and a pole. He died at the scene. The Darlington County Coroner’s office has not yet released the name of the deceased.
