Minor threatens Darlington Middle School
Last Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Darlington Middle School received emails from a minor threatening to “shoot up the school”, according to Darlington County Sheriff James Hudson Jr.
Assisted by The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the Sheriff’s Office conducted a thorough investigation and discovered that the threats were issued by a 14-year-old female who has been charged with SC Code of Law 16-17-425 Student Threats.
The name of the female has not been disclosed because she is a minor.
