Marjorie Ann Mitchell Sansbury

Marjorie Ann Mitchell Sansbury, 90, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Mrs. Sansbury was born the daughter of the late Odel Lativa Bevil Mitchell and Luis Aimar Mitchell. She graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Education degree. She loved to draw, crochet, to do crossword puzzles in the paper, playing cards, reading and collecting antiques. She also loved animals, gardening, and flowers. Mrs. Sansbury loved her family and was a kind-hearted person with a great sense of humor. She knew her family history and extended ancestry. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Quinby Coffee Club.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Lonnie “Plug” Sansbury; and her brother, Luis Aimar Mitchell, Jr.
Mrs. Sansbury is survived by her first husband, Robert Bruce Lynch; son, Robby Lynch of Darlington; daughters, Susan Lynch Holmes of Florence and Peggy Odel Howle of Florence; six grandchildren, Frances Elizabeth Holmes Holland, Michael Bradford Holmes, Clifford Joseph Howle; Benjamin Brookes Holmes; Robert Bruce Lynch, III and Mitchell Bryce Holmes; eleven great-grandchildren, and brother, Edward Buise (Roseanne) Mitchell.
Graveside Service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Lake Swamp Cemetery in Timmonsville, S.C. The service was directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family received friends immediately following the service.
