Man severely burned in field fire on Sunday
A man was severely burned in a Sunday morning field fire in Darlington County, officials said. The man suffered burns to 80 percent of his body during the fire on Palmetto Road, according to reports. The Palmetto Rural Fire Department responded to the blaze. The victim’s condition was not known at presstime Monday.
