Man accused of firing into occupied car near Hartsville

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man who is accused of firing five shots into an occupied vehicle near Hartsville in October. Dandriguez Torrez Allen Jr., age and address not available, was booked into the county jail March 11 and charged with attempted murder, jail records show. Allen is accused of shooting into a vehicle on Bayview Circle near Hartsville Oct. 3 of last year. According to local media reports, Allen was held in a fatal shooting in 2020, then about four months later, when he was free on bond, was arrested in a second shooting. He has been denied bond in this latest arrest, jail records say.
