Local queens compete for pageant crowns

Numerous queens representing titles from the Darlington and Pee Dee region of South Carolina will compete for the titles of Miss South Carolina America and Miss South Carolina Teen America from June 20-24 in Columbia at the Township Auditorium in Columbia S.C.
“We are very proud of the accomplishments of the queens this year and look forward to having them compete for the state crowns, Local Executive Director Alicia Gibson-Robinson said. “Just being on the stage is huge for these young ladies.”
The following young ladies are under the director of Gibson-Robinson:
Miss Pearl of the Pee Dee Icesiz Davis, Miss Society Hill Marisa Brown, Miss Florence Gabriela Balleza and Miss Magic City Kaitlyn Yarborough along with Miss Pearl of the Pee Dee Teen Olivia Nichols, Miss Society Hill Teen Katlyn Harrell and Miss Florence Teen Olivia Newton.
The Miss South Carolina Teen finals will be held on June 23rd and the Miss South Carolina finals will be held on June 24th and shown on the Sinclair Broadcasting Network across the state of South Carolina.
