Lindburgh’s Southern Cooking receives DDRA Improvement Incentive Grant

Lindburgh’s Southern Cooking and owner Denise Dargan Stanley received a DDRA Improvement Incentive Grant on March 8. The $1,000 grant to the new restaurant at 1215 S. Main St. at Joe Louis Boulevard is for all the façade improvements being made. Currently open on Saturdays for lunch, Stanley looks to open the restaurant full-time as soon as the last pieces of equipment arrive. The DDRA Board has approved $5,000 for façade grants for 2022. The program helps businesses and property owners make repairs, install signage and paint. Since its inception, the DDRA Improvement Incentive Grant Program has been in direct connection with more than $184,000 worth of upgrades. The grant deadline is the 24th of each month until funds are exhausted. (https://www.buildupdarlington.org/development)
