LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Reader supports Solar Energy

Dear Editor,
We are celebrating the 250th Anniversary, the SemiQuincentennial of this country’s Declaration of Independence. Our founding fathers and ancestors fought for our Freedom that we as a nation can live free, prosper in the pursuit of happiness, own property and abide by the laws of the land: Federal, State, County, and Local government.
We have come a long way since then, with inventions: electricity, telephone, automobiles, trains, planes, technology, satellites, GPS, home computers, laptops, cellphones we carry in our pocket, household appliances and a spacecraft that we land on the moon. And just this year a spacecraft circled the moon and we got to see the dark side of the moon for the first time.
That’s Progress!
There have been many conversations on solar recently. I’m in favor of solar energy, be it residential, commercial or solar farm. When I see the solar panels, I see progress.
The generations of today have it easy. They don’t know what life was like without the convenances we have today. There is a very high demand for electricity especially for air conditioning with this heat wave. We need clean renewable energy and the future is solar.
Sincerely,
Ann Gundlach
