Juveniles charged in Darlington shooting

The Darlington Police Department has charged two juveniles with attempted murder in connection with a May 10 incident on Edwards Avenue, police said in a statement.
Police said the juveniles fired several shots at other juveniles, but no one was hurt.
The same juveniles were arrested May 12 and transported to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia for unlawful carrying of a weapon, resisting arrest and possession of stolen firearms, police said. Officers were attempting to put the juveniles on trespass notice when they led officers on a foot chase. The juveniles were discovered with weapons.
The incidents are still under investigation and more arrests may be made, police said. The Darlington Police Department is asking those with information about the incidents to call 843-398-4026.
