Joe’s Grill holds Annual Chili Cookoff

Joe’s Grill held their Annual Chili Cookoff with trophies going to the winners in 4 categories. Also, there was a Classic Car Show with awards going to the top 3 winners. Approximately 300 people showed up and it is reported as the biggest crowd yet. Sponsored by the Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association (DDRA), proceeds went to benefit the City of Darlington Fire Department. First Place Winner of the Chili Cookoff was RTG Cooking Team (Robert Garland and Bobby Watford). Second Place Winner was returning 2022 Champion Brandon McInville. Third Place Winner was first-time entrant MamaC. Owners Choice Award went to first-time entrant Ms. Sarah Hicks of Patrick, SC.
In the Classic Car Show Competition, First Place went to Larry McGregor, Second Place went to Willy Evans and Third Place went to Randy Goodrich. The DDRA, the Darlington Fire Dept. and Joe’s Grill wish to thank all who came out and supported this event.
