Housefire, death in Hartsville area
A person was killed in a house fire which occurred on East Old Camden Road, just outside of Hartsville, early Sunday morning, according to Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee. Hardee said an investigation is ongoing, conducted by State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), South Carolina Fire Marshal’s Office and the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office. The deceased was identified as 62 year old Ervin Cotton from Hartsville.
