Free Clothes Closet set for June 27

The Clothes Closet is a free community service operated by New Providence Baptist Church, located at 1880 Antioch Rd., in Hartsville. They are open one Saturday each month for those in need to come and get free clothing. Four rooms full of clothing and one full of shoes are available for the choosing. Individuals and families in need will have an opportunity to refresh their wardrobes at no cost this summer, thanks to an upcoming community event at New Providence Baptist Church.
On Saturday, June 27th, the church will host a comprehensive Clothes Closet Giveaway, providing free clothing for community members of all ages. The event will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering a lifeline to residents seeking affordable wardrobe options.
Organizers are extending their generosity beyond just clothing, with shoes and accessories also available at no charge. Men, women, and children are all welcome to browse and select items that meet their needs.
The giveaway will take place at New Providence Baptist Church, located at 1884 Antioch Road. Residents are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection.
This community-driven initiative promises to provide essential support to local families, helping them dress with dignity and confidence without financial strain.
