Former Darlington Sheriff ushered into Hall of Fame

Longtime law enforcement official and the longest-serving Sheriff in Darlington County, W. Glenn Campbell, was inducted into the S.C. Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame for Meritorius service. Former Darlington County Sheriff Campbell served in that capacity from 1985 until his retirement in 2008. Current Sheriff James Hudson was among those present for the ceremony. Hudson said, “Sheriff Campbell gave me my first job in law enforcement. He treated everyone as if they were family and expected his employees to do the same. I was proud to be present for his induction to the S.C. Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame. Pictured above (left to right): S.C.
