Feb. 24 Hartsville crash victims are identified
The two people killed in a collision Feb. 24 in Hartsville have been identified as Sandra Wilson, 72, and Richard Hinson, 62, both of Hartsville.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said the two were killed on West Carolina Avenue at 9th Street.
Police said a vehicle driven by Wilson, with Hinson as a passenger, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old woman, who was seriously injured. Her condition wasn’t known to the public.
It wasn’t clear why Wilson’s vehicle suddenly shifted lanes. The accident remained under investigation.
