Farmer’s Market distributes produce vouchers

The Farmer’s Market Produce Vouchers Program is sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Social Services, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture and the Darlington County Council on Aging. The program provides low-income seniors age 60 and older with vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at local farmers’ markets authorized to accept the vouchers.

You may qualify to receive $50 worth of coupons to buy fresh fruits and vegetables from authorized farmers this summer!

How to Qualify:

• Must be a senior aged 60 or older

• Have a valid driver’s license or state issued ID (must be presented to pick up)

• Income guidelines will apply with application

• Live in a Darlington County

To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
