Deceased pedestrian identified
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee has identified the pedestrian killed on I-95 yesterday as Corrie Bonds of Raeford, NC. Bonds was walking in the roadway at around 3:30 AM when she was struck by a truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner.
This incident occurred at the 167 mile marker in Darlington County.
The death has been ruled an accident by the Coroner. No further investigation will ensue.
