Darlington County Sheriff’s Office to host National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that takes place all over the world on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out is celebrated in all fifty states, US territories, and military bases worldwide. The event promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. This year, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office will host National Night Out on August 7th at Darlington Middle School from 4-8 pm. The event is aimed at enhancing the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community; it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
