Holiday spirit filled the Public Square on Sunday, December 4 as the City of Darlington held its annual Christmas Parade. Kids of all ages braved a cold and rainy afternoon to cheer on daredevil Jolly Jeepsters, dance along with the Darlington High School Falcon Marching Band, collect candy thrown from festive floats by generous local businesses, churches, schools, and government officials, and – of course – wave and shout their Christmas wishes to jolly old St. Nick himself.
