Darlington Chain Saw Annual Open House
If you happened to be driving on South Main Street in Darlington, chances are you saw all the excitement of the Darlington Chain Saw’s Open House.
One of the highlights of the day was Professional chain saw carver Chad Gainey, who created amazing carved wood items to the delight of children and adults during the day. The demonstrations were provided by Husqvarna, and many attendees of the event were mesmerized by how deftly Gainey could sculpt with the chainsaw.
One special fireman from the Palmetto Rural Fire Department will be surprised by a special carving done during the event.
“Thanks to all for coming out to Darlington Chain Saw for the best ever open house and none of this would be possible with you the loyal customers,” said Lance Moody of Darlington Chainsaw. “We want to give a special thanks to Palmetto Rural Fire Department, Darlington County Sheriff’s Department, City of Darlington Police Department, SCDNR, Darlington Recreation Department, Hoffman Inflatables, Darlington Raceway, Diamond Hill Plywood, and Raceway Ford.”
The Darlington Chainsaw team includes owner Laverne Moody, II, and staff members Lance Moody, Brandon Maloch, Kayla Maloch, and Allen Blackmon.
