Creative grief workshop for adults and children

On Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Agapé Hospice is sponsoring a free, open to the community, grief workshop for both children and adults.

ELF (Expressing Loss Freely) will take place at the Harmon Baldwin Recreation Center at 300 Sanders St., Darlington. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m.; lunch provided.

Marcia Jones, grief support coordinator, Agapé Hospice, who is coordinating the event, stated: “Grief is our reaction to significant change and loss. It is certainly something we experience when we lose someone to death, but we may also grieve the loss of other types such as relationships, jobs, illness, property, etc. Grief comes to us all, and it is important to understand and process healthily so we can Express Loss Freely and move through it.”
