7:30 P.M. – Lamar -vs- Lake View Football Game, Don Poole Stadium, Lamar. There will be a SALUTE TO SPORTS as part of the Town of Lamar’s Sesquicentennial Event. The SALUTE will happen at half-time, during the game.

8:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. — Soup Kitchen, 586 W. Broad St., Darlington.
10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. — HomeHealth Career Fair. If you’re looking for a career, join us at the Career Fair. Be sure to bring a copy of your resume. All resumes will serve as an entry for our door prize. On-the-spot interviews will be offered for the positions of Medical Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Nurse and Dent Assistand. 8:00 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. — Al-Anon, AA Hut, 310 McFarland St., Al-Anon is a fellowship of adult relatives and friends of alcoholics for mutual support.
11:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. – Cooks for Christ Chicken Bog Benefit. Chicken bog, green beans, slaw and bread. Drive-through lanes will be open and a bake sale will be held all day. $10/plate. Sat., November 19th:
9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. – Catfish Festival, Parade starts at 11:00 A.M. The one-day festival includes fun for the whole family — entertainment, arts and crafts, games, amusements, and food. 473 S. Main Street ( Old St. David’s School), Society Hill.
Tues., December 13th:
