Posted on Wednesday, April 12, 2023
The Coker University and Hartsville High School Community Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Coach T.B. Thomas Sport Center, located on Washington Street in Hartsville. Approximately 250 children and parents were treated to games, including Soccer Kick, Cornhole, Connect Four, Jenga and also face painting. Fourteen Coker Univ. Soccer team athletes were on hand to pass out the over 6,000 treat-filled eggs which had been packed by the Hartsville High School eSports Team. Michelle Byers Brown, Director of Tourism & Communications and City of Hartsville Public Information Officer regretted that it was necessary to be held inside due to the rainy cold weather.
