Chamber to host free lunch and learn for veterans

Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free Veteran Employment and Entrepreneurship Lunch and Learn for veterans on Friday, June 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chamber’s boardroom. The event will feature a presentation by two agencies who have programs specifically for veterans.

Bernard Moses, Veteran Representative, with the SC Department of Employment and Workforce will explain S.C. Works’ programs geared to helping veterans find employment. Frank Anderson, Lender Relations Specialist, with the S.C. Small Business Administration will discuss veteran-owned business opportunities.

While the event is free to attend and open to the public, space is limited so registration is necessary. To register, interested veterans should contact the Chamber at 843-332-6401 or register online at www.hartsvillechamber.org.

The Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based business advocacy organization founded in 1910. The Chamber provides a voice for local businesses, supports economic development, and promotes the vibrant and personal community that makes Hartsville appealing to businesses and residents.
