Carraway 5K Run, Blood Drive postponed
Darlington Raceway postponed the fifth annual Terrence Carraway Memorial 5K presented by Brown’s RV Superstore due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Idalia. The event, originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 31, has been rescheduled for 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Rubicon marks Overdose Awareness Day
Local communities in South Carolina and around the world are coming together on Thursday, August 31, 2023, to remember those who have died or suffered permanent injury due to drug overdose.
Black Creek Water Level may reach 16.3 feet!
It is possible that, with the onslaught of Hurricane Idalia, the water level in low-lying areas along Black Creek may reach over 16 feet (only about 1 foot lower than the record high).
