Black Creek Water Level may reach 16.3 feet!
It is possible that, with the onslaught of Hurricane Idalia, the water level in low-lying areas along Black Creek may reach over 16 feet (only about 1 foot lower than the record high).

In anticipation of the heavy rains and high winds from Hurricane Idalia, the City of Darlington Administration will close today at 2:00 pm and reopen Friday, September 1, 2023, at 8:30 am.

On Saturday morning, August 26, 2023, the Matthews and King Education Center on 115B Exchange Street in Darlington became a hub of inspiration and learning as the Darlington Community Foundation and the Macedonia Life-Skills Center jointly sponsored a Grant Workshop.
