Carol Taylor Padgett
DARLINGTON – Carol Taylor Padgett, 86, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 5, in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. Burial was at Grove Hill Cemetery.
Born Dec. 23, 1933, Carol was the daughter of the late A.Z. Taylor and Elizabeth Yarboro Taylor. She retired from Dixie Cup, enjoyed collecting antique dolls, and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Joey (Angela) Padgett; grandchildren, Mickey (Stephanie) Blackman, Michelle (Stephen) Andrews, Ginger Blackman, Sherry (Marc) Heiden, Jeffery (Dana) Blackman, Jamie (Bonnie) Weatherford, David Weatherford, Beth Weatherford, Jody (Paige) Padgett, Jennifer (Jacob) Haithcock, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.O. Padgett; daughters, Susan Blackman, Deborah Weatherford, Lori Ann Ray, and a brother, Jerry Taylor.
