Awaiting trial in one killing, man pleads guilty in another
Awaiting trial in a 2020 slaying, a Hartsville man has pleaded guilty in a 2018 slaying in Lamar and has been sentenced to serve 12 years in prison in that case, according to reports.
Devon Rembert has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the killing of 18-year-old Germaine McCoy at the Cambridge Apartments, according to reports. Rembert also is awaiting trial in the 2020 slaying of a man in an armed robbery, according to officials.
