Another arrest in 2021 slaying
Another suspect – this one 17 years old – has joined the list of suspects arrested in a “gunfight” Nov. 6, 2021, in Darlington County.
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office arrested the teen, whose name is being withheld because of his age, last week. He is accused of murder and breach of the peace, officials said.
In that incident, authorities said, two cars were stopped at the intersection of Indian Branch Road and Beatrice Street. People in the cars were shooting at each other. Killed in the incident was James Bishop.
