1 dead, 2 wounded in county shootings

One person is dead and two are wounded after an incident Jan. 28 on Memory Lane off Swift Creek Road in Darlington County, officials say. Three people were shot southeast of Hartsville. What led up to the shootings isn’t yet clear, and the name of the victim had not yet been released as of press time Monday. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, and the State Law Enforcement Division is aiding in the investigation.
