Third man arrested for September homicide
Sheriff Tony Chavis has announced the arrest of a Hartsville man in connection to the September 5 murder on Persimmons Dr. in Hartsville.
Deshawn Jemel Wright, 19, of Hartsville is charged with accessory before the fact to a felony and accessory after the fact to murder. Investigators previously arrested Ky’Ron Jamal Peterson, 22 and Darius Cedric Gibson, 17, both of Hartsville.
Investigators allege Wright assisted Peterson and Gibson with the murder of Dominic Alton Midgett who was discovered deceased in a residential fire on Persimmons Dr. with a gunshot wound.
This case remains under investigation.
