Paddle sports enthusiasts to enjoy free fall Paddlefest

Whether you are new to paddle sports or want to learn a new skill, Fall Paddlefest will allow paddle sport enthusiasts to learn basic techniques of kayaking, kayak fishing, paddleboarding, and family canoeing.

The City of Hartsville Parks and Recreation department has partnered with Naturally Outdoors to bring this free event to Lawton Park, 716 Prestwood Dr., on Sept. 24, from 2 to 6p.m. One of the goals of Naturally Outdoors is to help people get outside enjoying our natural resources safely.

This event will have a festival-like atmosphere with music and mingling. Those who have their own equipment are welcome to bring it and join in the activities. Other equipment and life jackets will be supplied at the event.
For more information about this event, contact Jessica Cohen at 843-339-2878 or jessica.cohen@hartsvillesc.gov.
