Calling all readers of the News and Press!
November is the month of giving thanks. We know that there are a lot of wonderful civic and church organizations doing great things in our community. We want to know what your group is doing! Send a write-up of what your group has been up to in the last year and email it to us for consideration. Each write-up can be between 400 and 600 words and can include several photos of your activities. If you include photos, please include a description of what is taking place in the photo. We will accept these stories until the end of the year.
We are also looking for holiday stories! Is there a tradition that your family has kept going for generations? Do you have a family dressing recipe that is to die for? We want to know! Did you accidentally tell your children that there was no Santa Claus and they shared the information with classmates? We welcome serious stories and funny anecdotes. These stories can be up to 500 words. If you include photos, please include relevant information like names and what year it was taken. If we receive a lot of submissions, we will accept holiday stories until December 15 with the last one running on December 20.
