Wind damages trees, tennis court fence

Thunderstorms and winds in excess of 60 MPH hit the Pee Dee on Sunday, April 19, knocking down trees and damaging the public tennis court in Darlington. Heavy rain and wind cracked a concrete support and knocked down part of the chain link fence surrounding the tennis court at the corner of Orange and Liberty Streets, and brought down tree limbs at the corner of Wells and Sanders Streets.
