Where is this in Darlington County?

web Where is this in DC

The photo from last week was of the Wilds-Edwards house at 120 Edwards Ave. in Darlington.

The historic home is undergoing some exciting restoration, which we will be featuring very soon.

Our builder friend Bill Segars shared some insights on the photograph: “The interesting point to this photo is that it appears to be on the right side of the 1856 house that most people think faces Edwards Avenue. In fact when it was built, this façade is the front of the house which faced Pearl St. at the time. So now the true front of the Wilds-Edwards house faces the rear of the Piggy-Wiggly.”

The readers that guessed correctly were: Jim Stone, Bill Segars, and Phil Whittle.
