Despite falling to the Lady Barons from visiting Wilson Hall, the Lady Titans from Trinity Collegiate showed plenty of grit against a much more polished team.  Although the final set scores of 25-13, 25-13, and 25-20 gave the Lady Barons a 3-0 match victory, Trinity Collegiate battled as well as could be expected from the vicious attacks from a veteran Wilson Hall squad.

The Lady Barons jumped in front 8-1 with a seven-point run before the Lady Titans put together a three-point run to make the score 11-6 in favor of Wilson Hall.  The Lady Titans would never get closer than a six-point deficit in the first set.  They were highlighted by Madison Warren who had three assists and two kills.  Gabi Stamato and Madeleine Powell each added two kills.  Suzie Carter contributed two blocks while Stamato also had three service points.

The second set started much better for the hosts as they hustled to a 5-4 lead before Wilson Hall started to exert their hitting strength and wet ahead by double-digits at 17-7 on their way to the decisive victory.  Stamato and Allison Kirby each had a kill for the Lady Titans.  Warren added an assist, and both Carter and Maddie Rans had blocks.  Anne Evans Scott had two service points and both Carter and Warren delivered one service point.

In the third and final set, Trinity Collegiate fought off a 5-0 start for Wilson Hall and battled their way to a ties at 10-10 and 12-12 before the Lady Barons went on a five-point run to make the score 17-12.  The Lady Titans got as close as 20-17 before Wilson Hall closed out the game.  Warren dished out six assists, two service points, and had a kill in the final set.  Kirby had a kill and four service points, two of which were service aces.  Rans an Mallory Wright each had two kills and Rans had two service points.  Carter, Powell, and Stamato each had a kill.

Featuring a young lineup that never saw more than two senior players on the floor at the same time, the future looks bright for the Lady Titans especially when the junior varsity team swept the Lady Barons 25-15 and 25-18 in the preliminary contest.  Laurie Beth Brown stood out for her stellar defensive play.
